Out riding above A-basin Ski Resort. No trees at this elevation. 12,000+ft. Great ride.

Our 5th Anniversary...Climbing Mt. Elbert, 14, 433ft

It was a beautiful day, mid 50's and sunny. Perfect for climbing the 2nd highest peak, Mt. Elbert, 14,433ft, in the lower 48. (Mt. Whitney in California is 14,505ft). Took about 8 hours and 9 miles round trip.

SNOW!!! 2" overnight on 6/13/10

6:00am 6/13/2010
2" fell overnight in town at 9,000ft, 4-7" fell above 10,000ft.

Waterfall Hike 6/12/10

When will spring get here at 9,500 ft???? Who knows! Thankfully one ski resort is still operating...A-Basin (up at 13,050ft) will be open until July, literally.
